Amy H. Fisher loves to tell stories from the Bible—especially stories about covenants, about women, and about God's deliverance.
With a graduate degree in Jewish-Christian Relations, Amy has a special ability to bring inspiring Jewish biblical commentary to a Latter-day Saint audience.
Amy finalized her degree from the University of Cambridge on the same day she was due with her first child. It was an indicator of the way her academic and family lives would intertwine from then on. She is currently an independent researcher, not professionally associated with a university or other institution. Instead, she works full time in the service of five young people who share her name, her home, and her heart. There is also a little gravestone in a cemetery on a hill, where her sixth little one is buried. There is a special place in Amy's heart for the mourning ones—those experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, infant and child loss, or other kinds of family grief. She wants to tell those stories too.
